When to have your seats fixed

People push this too far and do nasty things that cost them more to extend times before paying to have their seats fixed. Fix early and save.

Many seats get ripped, burnt, punctured and more... Do not bring out the duct tape and do not put off having it fixed. Here are some reason why you should not wait...

Duct tape - bad? YES. If you have placed any adhesive on your seat it will automatically need to be completely recovered. Why?, first we will not attempt to remove the tape, we will not run the residue through our sewing machines and gum everything up. We have yet to find a good and vinyl safe product to remove adhesive. Also it really sucks to sit on, as it gets hot, the adhesive leaks and spreads on clothes or worse --- glues your leg hairs..

Exposed Foam -- Get it covered. Rain and sun will eat away at the foam in just one season. Foam is hard to match, shape and not always in stock. This will highly increase your pricing.

Older vinyl matching... the older the boat gets and the more weather it sees the harder it gets to match... so when one seat needs a repair or recovering, get it in before you need to do the whole boat to keep it looking good.
