Bimini Tops

Custom bimini tops remain one of our primary specialties.

Built standard with Sunbrella Marine Fabric, our biminis are designed for long-term durability, superior UV resistance, and years of dependable use on the water.

All zippered pockets utilize YKK #10 marine-grade nylon zippers, chosen specifically for their strength and reliability in demanding marine conditions.

We custom build round-stock stainless steel frames in-house, using premium stainless steel tubing along with marine-grade stainless and chrome fittings. When square tube framing is required, we coordinate with trusted fabrication specialists to complete the project properly.

Mooring / Dockside Covers

Custom mooring and dockside covers are one of our primary specialties at AK Boat Tops.

Built using 100% Sunbrella Marine Fabric as our standard, these covers are designed for long-term protection against weather, debris, and harmful UV exposure. Alternative materials are available when project needs require it.

Every cover includes integrated pole-top venting systems along with fully adjustable support poles, helping improve airflow, reduce trapped moisture, and promote proper water drainage.

Winter Covers

Winter covers are one of our core specialties and represent a custom solution we designed ourselves as a long-term alternative to traditional shrink wrapping.

Built as a reusable and environmentally responsible system, our winter covers help reduce unnecessary landfill waste while providing durable seasonal protection year after year.

Constructed using premium Atlantis marine fabric, reinforced PVC ridge caps, integrated venting systems, and a fully engineered support structure, these covers are designed specifically for harsh Canadian winter conditions.

Every system includes ratchet strap attachments, custom wood support framing, integrated tie-down points, and a zippered entry door for easy seasonal access.

Designed for fast installation by one or two people in just minutes, most customers find these covers pay for themselves in approximately four seasons when compared to repeated annual shrink wrapping costs.

Pontoon Flooring

We offer a full range of premium marine flooring options, specializing in pontoon flooring systems using trusted products from Compass, Hydromat, Nautolex, Dura, and other proven marine flooring manufacturers.

We also install premium foam flooring systems such as when requested, although for many pontoon applications we often recommend more traditional flooring products better suited for long-term durability and overall value.

For pontoon flooring replacement projects, the deck is completely stripped down to the aluminum frame structure to ensure the new flooring system starts with a solid foundation.

Where needed, new marine-grade plywood decking is available and strongly recommended as part of the rebuild process.

Because much of the interior is already removed during flooring replacement, this is often the ideal time to consider seat repairs, reupholstery, or complete seating replacement.

SeaDek Flooring

Over the years, AK Boat Tops has offered several premium marine foam flooring solutions, including both Marine Mat and SeaDek.

As demand for custom flooring systems grew, we found that relying on outside suppliers and third-party installation teams limited the level of service and turnaround time we wanted our customers to receive.

To solve that problem, Ayden Livesey has now completed official SeaDek Certified Installer and Retailer training, allowing AK Boat Tops to once again offer products entirely in-house from design through installation.

By bringing the process in-house, we now have greater control over quality, communication, production timelines, and final installation standards.

Enclosures

We offer full, half, and partial enclosure systems for boats, gazebos, and a variety of custom outdoor applications.

Every enclosure is built completely custom using premium Sunbrella Marine Fabric, durable YKK marine-grade nylon zippers, vinyl-coated screening materials, and a wide selection of premium isinglass window products designed for long-term visibility and weather protection.

Because every project is custom built, each enclosure is designed around how you intend to use the space, balancing weather protection, ventilation, visibility, and overall functionality.

For the best possible fit and fabrication accuracy, projects are ideally completed at our shop location. On-site travel and installation services are available when required, although additional travel charges will apply.

Interiors / Seating

From minor repairs to complete interior rebuilds, we specialize in restoring boat interiors using premium marine-grade vinyl materials designed specifically for harsh marine environments.

We work on bench seating, sun pads, side panels, bolsters, and complete seating systems across virtually all makes and styles of boats.

When it comes to captain chairs, we often recommend replacement rather than repair or recovering. In our experience, many factory-built chairs are constructed using lightweight materials that commonly fail over time, making replacement the better long-term investment. Matching your interior to a new chair is often the best overall solution.

Our focus remains strictly within the marine industry, and we currently do not offer automotive or household upholstery services.
